Exotic herbal scent accompanied by a bit of floral note at the end, honey viscosity liquor with a mild touch of mint, finally ends with sweetness.
Transitioning from floral and herbal like notes into honey like sweetness with a very mild hint of mint, this complex white tea is aged for three years.
Fu Ding and Zheng He in Fu Jian are both the world’s birthplaces of white teas. The most popular and prestigious styles are Silver Needle (all buds), Bai Mu Dan (one bud with one or two leaves), and Shou Mei (Han Lu is a wintry harvest version after Shou Mei).
Featuring a simple production process, 100% pure white tea is able to preserve most of its original states and micronutrients. As the richest of all natural teas in amino acids, it is also the sweetest of all tea kinds. Similar to Pu Er, the aromatic compounds of white tea change over time and polyphenols (known for being antioxidants) increase with time, fully developing the flavor. Hence, this tea holds a premium value for collectors as even more changes develop both aromatically and nutritionally as time goes by.

Gai Wan or ceramic pot
Add 5gram/1 tbsp
95 C / 205 F
Add 8oz water and infuse for 3 min.
Repeat for another 4+ infusions and increase the steeping time by 30 seconds with each additional infusion
Gai Wan (Recommended for best infusions):
Rinse leaves and discard the first infusion
Add water and infuse for 10 seconds
Repeat for another 8+ infusions and increase the steeping time by 10 seconds with each additional infusion
We strongly encourage experimenting with different quantities, steeping times and tea wares to find your most desired result. However, avoid over heated water, as it will over-extract the bitter compounds and astringency of the tea, whereas water that’s too cool might not fully extract the aroma and flavor.
