Hand painted by a young female artist from Jing De Zhen called Fang, Ke, these designs are inspired by her companies in real life. Fang came to Jing De Zhen to study painting and ceramics about 11 years ago, and now has become a local artist. She owns two cats, a rabbit and some goldfish. They now have become a major inspiration for her work. She likes sketching her animal friends in daily life so she can paint them later on the teaware she makes. Since she is involved in every stage, from throwing to painting, she can't afford a mass production at the current stage. For every batch of her work, she produces 2-3 Gaiwans for each style and 1 cup/style. She also leaves a tiny signature of hers on her work.
In honor of the Moon Festival this year, we received two styles of Gaiwan with designs of rabbits and four cups from her. They now have instantly become some of our favorites!
