These cat inspired tea cups are hand made and hand painted by the same artist who made the Moon Rabbit series teaware. This young female artist, Fang Ke, came to Jing De Zhen to study painting and ceramics about 11 years ago, and now has become a local artist. She owns two cats, a rabbit and some goldfish. They now have become a major inspiration for her work. She likes sketching her animal friends in daily life so she can paint them later on the teaware she makes. Since she works by herself and is involved in every stage, from throwing to painting, she can't afford a mass production at the current stage. For every batch of her work, she produces 1 cup/style. She also leaves a tiny signature of hers on her work.
