Origin: Jing De Zhen
This beige Gaiwan has a moonface texture (which is also called Peacock eyed in China). It’s made roughly at 1600C/2912F and every single one is slightly different from another. It’s simple yet elegant and with the moonface texture, it brings an antique feel and a sense of peacefulness on a tea table. There are three styles that you can choose from. This Gaiwan is made by a local artisan in Jing De Zhen, which is the cradle of pottery and ceramics in China.
