Full Description
This aged Bai Mu Dan was charcoal roasted when it was produced in 2018. Charcoal roasted loose leaf white teas tend to provide a better aging result than white teas that are pressed into cakes, and this loose leaf Bai Mu Dan, despite being only three years old, offers an incredible rich complex taste already. We are very curios what it will become in another three years! Bai Mu Dan or White Peony is a worldwide famous white tea. It’s the second grade of white tea that comes as one bud with one or two young leaves.
Farmer Wen and his charcoal roast only white tea farm started working with us just this year! His farm is located in the Tai Mu Shan mountain range at elevation 610 meter. He just upgraded his production equipments this year and started producing only charcoal roast white teas. Quote what he said ‘No charcoal roast, no tea!’
