Tasting Note

Never, ever bitter, this green oolong features notes of both Oolong and vegetative umami green tea that are distinctly tasted yet seamlessly blended. Mildly sweet, this tea coats the throat in with a creamy texture and features a lightly floral perfume. Smooth to drink, it is medium bodied and ideal for breakfast or anytime.

Full Description

Organically grown on the pristine mountain side, this elegant tea is very close in flavor to a green tea yet crosses the category to embrace its Oolong flavors. The mild floral notes and fragrance convey the purity of the land and environment in which it is grown and harvested at the perfect moment. Coming from a small family farm which allows its grower to give each tea leaf the attention to detail that an artisan crafted organic tea needs. Delicate and tender through and through, there is simply nothing you can do to make this tea taste bitter.

Brewing Instruction

Gai Wan or ceramic pot
Add 5gram/1 tbsp
80 C / 175 F

Ceramic Teapot:

  • Add 8oz water and infuse for 5 min.
  • Repeat for another 3+ infusions and increase the steeping time by 30 seconds with each additional infusion

Gai Wan (Recommended for best infusions):

  • Add water and infuse for 10 seconds
  • Repeat for another 8+ infusions and increase the steeping time by 10 seconds with each additional infusion

We strongly encourage experimenting with different quantities, steeping times and tea wares to find your most desired result. However, avoid over heated water, as it will over-extract the bitter compounds and astringency of the tea, whereas water that’s too cool might not fully extract the aroma and flavor.
