Craftsmanship technique: ice crackled glaze
An artistic beauty created by skillful ceramic craftsmanship of high fire and a particular type of glaze technique known in Chinese as "ice crackle glaze" 冰裂窑. It has a beautiful pink-purple-ish color due to the red glaze and a feminine design, and each one's glaze could be slightly different due to artisanal craftsmanship and the change happens in kiln. This teaware is from the motherland of ceramics in China, Jing De Zhen.
This is used as a sharing pitcher in Gong Fu Cha tradition for tea serving purpose. As you use it more overtime, the ice crackled glaze will become more noticeable.
