The Gaiwan itself is like the Neptune planet and it’s one of our favorite Gaiwans! The size is moderately big for both small leaves and big leaves loose leaf tea. The moonface texture (which is also called Peacock Eye texture in Chinese) also adds a rustic look and every one is its own kind and can be a little different from the others. This Gaiwan is made by a local artisan in Jing De Zhen, which is the cradle of pottery and ceramics in China.
