Origin: Jing De Zhen, China
Artisanal technique: 100% hand made and hand painted
A traditional Chinese blue and white porcelain on a Japanese Kyusu style tea pot. The artistic sea waves painted by hand under a smooth glaze adds on an antique sense. From the lid to sprout to the in built strainer, every detail of this tea pot is made by a pair of skillful hands. The lid is closely sealed thanks to its masterful design and artisanship and it has a silky smooth pour.
This teapot has a big volume of 220ml, which can be used as a Gong Fu Cha tea pot as well as for brewing other teas such as herbal teas and it can serve up to 6 people at a time. This is not a Yixing clay teapot, so it doesn't have any tea type restriction. We would highly recommend using this teapot for teas brewed with higher water temperature such as black tea, heavy roasting oolong tea, Pu Erh tea, aged white tea and herbal tea.
