Lapsang Souchong
Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong, or Lapsang Souchong, is more than just the world's first black tea. This tea itself is a cultural heritage of China, since the traditional smoked Lapsang Souchong has to be 100% handmade by burning the Horsetail pine wood in a special architecture called Qing Lou (another Chinese cultural heritage). Our Lapsang Souchong teas come from a five general tea farm in Mu Su, Tong Mu village in Tong Mu Guan in the Wu Yi Mountain range, which is the birthplace of this tea and still is the core production area.
