Blue Butterfly Brownie

Ingredients to prepare:

-1/3 cup all-purpose flour/gluten free flour

-2 cups Blue Gleam tea 

-1/3 cup butter

-1/4 cups white sugar

-1 teaspoon vanilla extract

-2 cups all-purpose flour/gluten free flour

-2 1/2 baking power

-1/2 teaspoon salt

-1/2 lemon zest 

-optional: 2 eggs 

Directions:

-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan. In a heavy saucepan combine the 1/3 cup of flour and 2 cups of Blue Gleam tea. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick. Transfer to a mixing bowl and set aside to cool.

-In a small saucepan, melt butter. When butter has melted, add another 2 cups of all-purpose flour, baking powder and salt, stir until just blended. Beat the sugar, lemon zest and vanilla into the cooled flour mixture. Combine the two batter and stir until well-blended. Spread evenly in the prepared pan.

-Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool before cutting into bars.
