Chai Pudding and Osmanthus Pudding
Ingredients:
-Corn starch
-Honey
-2 tea spoons of almond milk
-5 tea spoons of coconut milk
-Optional: whipped cream
-Optional: milk
-Optional: Moroccan rose petals
-Optional: 1 teaspoon of sugar
Directions:
For Chai Pudding:
1. Use 5 gram of Chai the Day and 8oz of water, steep for 4 mins and pour 2 cups out in a saucepan, add 5 tea spoons of coconut milk/milk and mix
2. Scoop 7 teaspoons of cornstarch in a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of sugar and mix (optional). Scoop 1 cup of chai tea and coconut milk mix into the bowl and mix with cornstarch
3. Pour the cornstarch mix back in the saucepan with the remaining milk tea and heat it up on the stove below boiling point, stirring frequently, until mixture starts to boil and thicken. Remove from heat and add 3 teaspoons of honey (or more as desired).
4. Pour pudding into individual dishes, or one large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill at least 2 hours to cool. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
For Osmanthus Pudding
1. Use 5 gram of Osmanthus Mélange and 8oz of water, steep for 3 1/2 mins and pour 2 cups out in a saucepan, add 2 tea spoons of almond milk/milk and mix
2. Scoop 7 teaspoons of cornstarch in a bowl, add 1 teaspoon of Moroccan rose petals (this is optional), add 1 teaspoon of sugar (also optional) and mix. Scoop 1 cup of Osmanthus tea and almond milk mix into the bowl and mix with cornstarch
3. Pour the cornstarch mix back in the saucepan with the remaining milk tea and heat it up on the stove below boiling point, stirring frequently, until mixture starts to boil and thicken. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon of honey if desire
4. Pour pudding into individual dishes, or one large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap. Chill at least 2 hours to cool. Garnish with whipped cream, if desired.
